So i’ve been pretty frickin ill over past few days and stuck in the house, so in between sipping lemsip, hot whiskeys and watching the food network i got bored and out this video together on my iphone from different vids i took over the summer.

Great day today, finally took delivery of my new custom made board from Alan Robertson, it really is amazing how he makes his boards, do yourself a favour and check out his blog in which he writes abut his boards, goings on and life, very interesting reading: http://barnsterlife.blogspot.co.uk/
On another note, we (The Thatch Croyde) hosted the St.Austell Brewery Board meeting and dinner evening (first time outside of the brewery) and had a great night, a menu tailored to their beers, using as ingredients and marrying the flavours to the dish. I also got a chance to try out my newly created Beer Flavoured Vodka as a palate cleanser…..went down a storm, getting the stern nod of approval from the head brewer (one of this guys beers won best beer in the world a few years back) and a request for another round with looks of astonishment and the repeat question of ”how the hell did you manage to make that?”. All in all, i’ve had a pretty sweet day!
